Welcome to La Pinstrie gite! We are Jérôme and Nadia, owners and managers of this gite located in Anjou. In 2017, we renovated this old 17th century building, which we transformed and extended for the greater comfort of our guests.
By coming to our cottage, you will leave all your worries aside to live an authentic experience in the countryside. We like conviviality and human exchanges, do not hesitate to test our accommodation formulas in Soeurdres!
Access to the pool is free from 9:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and you have 2 hours a day in the wellness area.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at Gite La Pinstrie, the owners live right next door so were on hand to answer any questions. The rooms are spacious, nicely decorated and we had no problem with having two families of four in the bedrooms upstairs whilst my parents had the bedroom downstairs. Lovely to have a bathroom for each bedroom too. Our main reservation when booking the property was the restricted use of the pool, this is to allow the owners some time to make use of it for themselves. For the first couple of days we had free use because they were away, but during the week we tried to have lunch etc at those times. Part way into our stay they invited us to use the pool with them which was very kind and made such a difference for us. There was also a facility to play boules which was lovely as we had young children with us. There is a supermarket 10 minutes down the road which was very handy but there wasn’t much else nearby. About 45mins away we took our children to a zoo which I’d highly recommend. The only negative about our stay was the amount of flies, I’m not sure if it is a seasonal thing but it really was annoying by the end of our stay (August). We tried our hardest to keep everything tidy and all food covered. Overall a lovely property and inviting owners. Thank you for having us!

Summary: We stayed Gite La Pinstrie for 3 weeks in August. I cannot recommend this Gite highly enough. Nadia and Jerome were perfect hosts, unobtrusive but more than helpful if we ever needed them. The accommodation is very large and fitted out to an incredibly high standard. From the heated pool, satellite tv to the high speed internet (the kids were happy) every need is looked after. The little village is quiet, perfect for a getaway and a total break from work and the city but supermarkets are less than 15/20 min away and the beautiful city of Angers only 40 min drive. 5km away in Daon there is a lovely cycle track along the river, bikes were provided with the gite which saved a lot of hassle transporting them to France. Thank you Nadia and Jerome for your hospitality, we will be back!

Summary: Just returned from our first stay in France. Nadia and Jerome were really welcoming when we arrived and showed us around property and how to use appliances. The property is decorated to a high standard throughout and well equipped. The pool area is fantastic and we spent a lot of time there in the lovely weather. The Gite is located in a small village, with access to surrounding area with car, there is a small shop/bar/restaurant which is open in morning and late afternoon within walking distance. We had a lovely first family holiday in France and will defiantly stay here again.
